Eli is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, MA in Marriage and Family Counseling and a graduate of the University of Connecticut, MSW in Clinical Social Work. He is a LCSW in North Carolina.
He has been a clinical program consultant to mental health organizations, agencies, and hospitals for over thirty years. He was Regional Vice President of Operations for a national Christian mental health organization. In 1989 he created and built his own Christian mental health company serving Central Florida through eight out-patient clinics and two hospital programs and a community mental health center.
Eli is a founding board member of American Association of Christian Counselor Sexual Addiction Specialist.
In 1993 Eli started to work with Dr. Mark Laaser in developing intensive programs for sex addicts and their spouses. Their groundbreaking work was the first Christian intensive workshop dealing with sexual addiction in the country. Eli has worked with thousands of sex addicts and their spouses from all over the world.
Today Eli provides intensive workshops for couples, individuals, and groups who desire to take their recovery beyond sobriety and into intimacy. These intensive are provided nationally and internationally by invitation.
As a pioneer in the field of sexual addiction recovery Eli has been a nationally and internationally known speaker, trainer and coauthor on sexual addiction since 1990.
